Léa Habourdin
Léa Habourdin graduated from ENSP. She is now exhibiting in the Magasin de jouets in Arles. She also takes part in the exp12 projections in Berlin. Today she answers to our questions in “One photographer, a photography”.
The photographer you would like to meet :
My first thought is a tea gathering Jean-Luc Nancy, Louise Bourgeois et Pina Bausch, and I would be a mouse hidden in the sugar pot, listening to them. Otherwise, I fancy a limonade with Joan Fontcuberta and Paul Cox.
What would you tell him ?
Would you like a straw with your limonade ?
What does you dream life look like ?
It’s hard to answer… As long as I can keep doing my job, have a bit of money and some recognition… As long as I can go here and there, meet nice people and have exhibitions… And if I can do that without falling flat on my face… and I’ll be all right!
If you had to present your work with one image :
I wonder for a while and then choose this picture because I recently printed it using the Rotogravure technique (at Helio’g workshop), it is a rare technique involving copper engraving and photography. The result is kind of carnal. You can see it until septembre at « Le Magasin de Jouets » gallery, Arles, France.
